On Matter creation, one of the requirements is to select an appropriate Matter type. By doing so, you will later be able to filter all of your Matters by type, and run reports for different types of Matters.
Default list of available values
for a Matter type includes:

- Bankruptcy
- Builder's Liens
- Business
- Business Development
- Civil Litigation
- Commercial
- Conveyance (Purchase)
- Conveyance (Sale)
- Corporate
- Criminal
- Employment
- Estates
- Family
- Franchise Law
- General Corporate
- Immigration
- Insurance
- Intellectual Property
- Personal Injury
- Privacy Law
- Tax
- Trade-marks
- Wills
You can also add your own Matter types, or edit/delete any of the items from the list above. To do so, go to Matter365 application settings and select Matter types.
