How do I set up Flat rate / Fixed Fee?

Click on the "+" sign in the upper right and choose "Add Time Entry" or in the Time Tracking Tab, choose "Add Activity"

Select the Matter

Choose exactly 1 hour for the Time

Then, in the "Billing Rate", enter the monthly retainer or any other Fixed Fee that you want to charge

Enter the Description, then click on save.

This entry will be shown as One Hour (or one Unit) at the Fixed Fee amount on the invoice.

If you want to track the time spent, but not bill on an hourly basis, you can set that Matter's Billable rate to $0:

When you create the Time Tracking it will show you how many hours it was worked on but it will be $0:

To set that up, open the matter, go to Settings then click Edit:

Then go to Members and click Edit:

Input $0 per hour and click Save:

Or you can simply change the Billing rate when you are creating a Time Tracking:
