How do I create a new Matter?
You can create a new Matter from any page of Matter365 application by using the shortcut from the application header (“+” in the upper right-hand corner).
Additionally, on Matters page, you can click “Create new Matter” button.
both cases, the following dialog will appear, and you can enter some
basic information about the Matter you’re about to create.
Populate all the fields marked with * and click save.
There are some character limitations when it comes to Contact Display name, Matter name, and Description:
Contact Display name can't be longer than 100 characters.
Matter name can't be longer than 92 characters.
Description can't be longer than 10 000 characters.
Please Note: The Matter Name is NOT editable once a Matter has been created. The
Matter Name is used to create folders and pages in various Office365
Applications, so once the Matter has been created, the name cannot be changed.
I'm trying to create a new Matter, but it won't save.
