Gravity Legal integration

Setting up a new Gravity Legal account

You can sign up for Gravity Legal on this link.
When you first log in, you will be placed in Settings - Payment Methods. Select the payment methods you would like to accept and click Continue

Complete the application and click Submit

Once you have submitted your information, you will receive an email with your application for e-signature. Once you have signed the packet, Gravity Legal will notify you by email when your account is ready to process payments.  

Once you sign up you will have to enter your company info, connect your QuickBooks account in Gravity legal, and optionally, you can personalize the look and feel of the Gravity Legal outgoing emails to your customers (text, colors, layout, your company logo).

Connect QuickBooks Online account

To connect your QBO account, head over to Settings > Integrations > New Integration and select QuickBooks

You will be prompted with a QuickBooks Online sign in dialog. Enter your QuickBooks credentials and click Sign In.

Click Connect.

Don't forget you still need to connect your bank account and enable different payment methods on Gravity Legal side.

Branding customization

You can set up your company branding in Settings > Branding

Once you configured your branding style, don't forget to confirm by clicking Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

Connecting the Gravity Legal company in Matter365 Settings

Once your Gravity Legal account is configured, you can connect it in Matter365 settings, by choosing Gravity Legal page.

Click Connect with Gravity Legal.

Sign in with your Gravity Legal credentials.

After signing in, you will see the following:

Using the integration to request trust deposits from customers

Trust deposits can be requested either from a matter dashboard, or from trust accounting page in Matter365.

Fill in the deposit request details and click Send.

Notification will be shown and your deposit request will be sent to your customer over an email. This request will become visible in your Gravity Legal account as well.
